Just magnolia challenge

The challenge on Just magnolia is a sketch and it is a lovely sketch to use, I have used a magnolia stamp that I have had for a while and coloured her with copics. The papers I have used are basic grey wisteria , I love the deep shade of purple in them. I have also used a martha stewart punch, my nesties, and the sentiment is a Su stamp.

The next level

I just had to have a go at debbies free standing pop-up card and decided to have a jungle feel with my new magnolia stamps. The challenge is over on the next level blog and was fun to do. The card took a while to do because of the cutting out and all the colouring, I used my copics to colour with and the more I use them the more I love them. I had to use silicone glue for the animals and I do not like the smell of it one bit so I could have done with a peg on my nose lol.

Just had to say that I can't stop singing the song 'the lion sleeps tonight' and I am driving hubby potty mainly because I can't actually sing very well and the song is annoying him hee hee.

A quick post

A quick upload it is way past my bedtime but here is a card I made for Sir Stampalot and I have used a martha stewart punch , tilda stamp and the papers are daisy bucket.

Friday sketchers 57

A quick hello because I have to be out the door soon picking up kids and being a general taxi service lol. I made this card yesterday and finished it early this morning using the sketch on friday sketchers. I have used one of the new magnolia stamps,my minds eye papers and a martha stewart punch all from my fav shop sir stampalot. I just love this cute stamp and the others in the pet range.

Two challenges in one

The card I have made today is using the sketch on Friday sketchers and is a great sketch and I am sure I will use it again. The card also incorporates flowers that is the challenge at roses and paper, so I made one card for 2 challenges. The papers I have used are my minds eye and are called bloom and grow and I love the colours. The stamps are both from greeting farm and coloured with copics. I have also used my nesties and some flowers i found amongst all my craft stuff. Now I must dash because it is soon time for work and I still have some boring chores to do, would be great to craft all day and have someone do all the chores,anyway back to reality and the ironing byeeeee.

Just magnolia challenge

I have not had a lot of time to craft this week but got a chance today to have a go at the challenge on Just magnolia. I really enjoy the magnolia challenges mainly because I love the stamps and this is one of my favourites. The image is coloured with copics and the flowers were stamped onto patterned paper and cut out. The butterflies are a old xcut punch and just seemed to fit ok. Thanks for looking and I hope to get a chance to craft a bit more soon as I get withdrawal symptoms.

Cute card Thursday

The challenge this week on Cute card Thursday is to use punches or diecuts so I have used my nesties and sizzix dies to do this card. the papers are my minds eye and I have coloured the image with distress inks, thanks for looking.

Roses and papers challenge

The challenge on roses and papers is to use pink,green and yellow in you project and is not a combo I use much. I have used one of my tildas and coloured with copics and sakura pens. I have used my blossom nesties to sit tilda on and
I have also used the set to make this flower,
I ran the flowers through a cuttlebug folder and
then sanded the embossed parts. The leaves
are cut from a sizzix die.

I had a lovely surprise on Saturday by hubby
got me a desk and it is huge, well compared to
my old one it seems huge. His work place is on the move to the new hospital and they was getting rid of it and it got it for me and I loooove it. I can now have my cricut on my desk and there is still lots of room.

stamp with fun

The challenge on stamp with fun is to make anything but a card, so I decided to cover a clipboard and make a shopping list board. I used crafters companion stick and spray to stick paper on to clipboard and have got to say wow it worked great. I really enjoyed making this as a change from cards. The stamps I have used are a hero arts set and have lots of lovely cooking related stamps on and the word stamp I used is by great impressions. Do you like my ribbon? I got it on Saturday from Sir Stampalot and I love it but then I do love most ribbon lol.

Tuesday taggers

Over on Tuesday taggers the theme is bold and bright so I have gone for yellows and oranges ,not my normal colours and made a ATC. I do not do many as I mostly make cards but it was a nice change. I used daubers and Su inks to create background and then stamped over this with a flower word stamp and a little butterfly. I used my Su pens to colour the butterflies and tilda was coloured with Distress inks.
