Bad blogger

I have been a bad blogger and not updated for a while, but it is the school holidays here and I have been busy with kids and also done a 3 day

computer course. I have a messy home, loads of washing and a bike ramp set up in the back garden lol.

I did make this card,well started it several days ago and just finished it, so thought I would put this on to show I have not fell off the planet.

The image is a sugar nellie stamp and one of my favourites and I have used copics to colour with. The sentiment stamps are magnolia stamps and are so sweet sayings. The papers are freebies from making cards magazine, I usually do not use the free papers from magazines but I loved these ones. I have used my nesties and punches on the card too.

Just magnolia challenge

It's a week since my last update because I have had a busy week with kids school activities ,a craft class and a meal out thrown in too. It's the last day at school today for the kids and I am so looking forward to the holidays and not having a set routine and morning school runs. I just hope we have some nice weather.

The challenge this week on just magnolia is to use buttons on your card. Now I have a lot of buttons so this was for me a pick your paper round the buttons card. I have used tilda holding a cupcake and coloured with copics. I also stamped out 2 little cupcakes too. The papers are doodlebug and very summery and fresh. Now I would like to have time to make a card today but I have cleaning, ironing and real cupcakes to make for my son's birthday today so I am not holding out a lot of hope.

Just magnolia challenge

I made this card a few days ago but had to wait to post it because the challenge on Just magnolia began today. I loved the sketch and dragged out a old but favourite tilda. I am trying to make myself use my pile of papers and so I used some basic grey papers I have had for a while. The sentiment is a Su stamp and a really sweet one at that.

I have now got to make a birthday card for a friend who makes the most beautiful cards and so I know everything is going to go wrong with mine lol.

Friday Sketchers

I really love this sketch over on Friday sketchers challenge blog , it was so easy to use. This card is for my son's birthday next Saturday ( and he doesn't look at my blog lol) I hope he likes it. The stamp is from the magnolia pet range and coloured with copics. The papers are my minds eye and are so lovely to work with. The sentiment is Su and so are the punches and the braid was off a gift I got , so I am recycling.

Today I spent the morning at Lou's because she had a stamping up party and we had a lot of fun if you keep a eye on A stamp for all season blog you will see pictures of what we made. Bridgette's su parties are excellent and I highly recommend her as a demonstrator because of all the thought and effort she puts into her parties.

The next level 5

I made this card using the sketch on The next level and the stamp I have used is one of the new popcorn stamps. I am a bit of a softy when it comes to bears and fell in love with popcorn and his friends. I have used my minds eye papers and coloured with copics again lol.

Now I must go and do some work because we have been out shopping today for tracksuit for middle child and I now have all my work to do.

Just magnolia

The challenge this week on just magnolia is to use charms on your project, so I had a look through my jar of bits and bobs and found this glass charm and chose my magnolia stamps to go with the charm. I have used basic grey papers for this card and coloured image with copics. I think this tilda is a real cute one and love the fact she is giggling.

tuesday taggers

The challenge for this week on Tuesday taggers is distressing so I got out my Tim Holtz distress inks and got messy. I have used a gorjuss girl for my tag and a script stamp that I have had a while and love to pieces. The design is coloured with copics and I finished the tag with pearls,a flower and a little pin I made.
