Sketch Saturday my card

Well here goes I do not think I have ever been so nervous making a card lol. This is my entry for the final round for the Dt call on Sketch Saturday. I am so thrilled to get to the final 12 and all the other ladies work is so fantastic that I feel honoured to get this far. The Sketch I chose to use was number 65 because it seemed to fit with the stamp I wanted to use.

For my card I have used:
Gorjuss girl stamp
Copics
Doodlebug papers
Martha Stewart border punch
Su punches and sentiment
Flowers from that market stall again

I have stitched around the outside and along borders
and could not believe it when my machine played up
half way through but I managed to salvage my card.
I have also decoupaged the girls skirt to add a bit of
flare on skirt.

Anya

The challenge on Anyone for Anya is to use flowers and I love the Anya girl stamps So I thought I would have ago. My card in real looks brighter than in photo but I do seem to have problems getting the right light so if anyone has any tips they would be gratefully received.
For my card I have used bloom and grow papers by My mind's eye and coloured with copics. The flowers are made using a su punch and the frame is made from nesties. My little butterfly came from a market stall I found while out with hubby and there was lovely lace too. £10.00 later and one bored husband I had a lovely stash of bits and bobs, think the lady serving was fed up of measuring too lol.
Must go now hubby has gone to MacDonald's to get us a sausage muffin and yes I know there not good for you but I neeeed one.

2 cards

Two cards today and both going to sir stampalot, the first one is not my normal colours but I am trying to use different colours instead of sticking to same. The Tilda is from the new Magnolia range and I have coloured her with copics. the papers are daisy bucket and the swirls are a sizzix die.

The second card is two more magnolia stamps from new range and back to my normal colours I love and again coloured with copics. The papers are daisy bucket and the punch is martha stewart.

I had a lovely day yesterday crafting until it was school home time and eldest son came in and said youngest sons bike had been stolen from school. Jayden was upset he had only had bike a few months and he loved it. School had rang police and they were looking for it and I have to say they were brill and at 10.15 we had police come round and they had the bike and had arrested suspect. We did not get to bed till 12 because of giving statements but we did have one very happy son.

What's cooking

Over on Sketch Saturday they are looking for a new Dt member and so I thought I would have a go, the sketch is lovely and I really enjoyed using it.

I have used One of the new tilda stamps and I think they are cute, I have coloured her with copics and layered her a little.

The grey spotted paper is also Magnolia and is very strokable lol. I have used my martha stewart punch for the border after I had fought the new puppy for it, and yes I know martha stewart punches are not good dog toys but I really did not have much say when he grabbed it and legged it across room. I am now begging husband for a craft shed or a garage conversion ( I dream) just to save my sanity and my craft stash.

I have made this card using last weeks sketch on Saturday Sketchers I was too late to take part but the sketch seemed to fit with this stamp.

I am just getting back into card making the school holidays really threw me off and I could not seem to concentrate but things are starting to return to normal lol.

Friday Sketchers

There is a lovely sketch over on Friday sketchers for the challenge this week and so I thought I would have ago and use 2 stamps I bought a while a go and that had not seen ink(naughty).

For my card I have used:-

Basic grey lemonade paper pad

Two magnolia stamps, ice cream and Tilda sitting

Su circle of friendship stamp set

Su punches

Button came off clothing, my family have to watch out if they have clothes with nice buttons lol

It is Sunday here and we are having a lazy day, in fact I am still in pjs but I do love days when there is no pressure to do anything and these are the days I often get lots of little bits and bobs done. Hope you are all having a lovely Sunday too.
